Fall is officially here, and with a new season comes the opportunity to refresh our wardrobes with fun, chic pieces that embrace the season’s colors, patterns, and this year’s trends. This year, two trends have my heart—burgundy and leopard print. Even though they are currently trending, these two trends are timeless, versatile, and perfect for adding a bit of flair to any outfit. Burgundy: The Rich Color of Fall

Burgundy is one of those colors that instantly makes you think of fall. It’s rich, warm, and a little bold—perfect for cozying up on crisp autumn days. Whether you’re dressing up or keeping it casual, it can truly elevate any look.

• Why I Love It: Burgundy is the perfect fall neutral. Aside from the fact that I claim it as crimson (ROLL TIDE), it pairs so well with almost any color—think camel, black, navy, or even another fall trend, denim. It’s bold without being too loud, so it easy to incorporate into everyday outfits.

• How I like to Wear It: Whether it’s a soft burgundy sweater, a statement pair of boots, or a pop of color in your accessories, burgundy is easy to add to your fall lineup. I love pairing a burgundy jacket or sweater with jeans, or with a fun fall print such as leopard print. I also love accessorizing with burgundy pieces like a small handbag, necklaces or boots. 

Leopard Print: A Trend That is More of a Staple

Leopard print has become a neutral in its own right, and it’s back stronger than ever this fall! What I love about leopard is that it adds just the right amount of edge and fun to any outfit, whether it’s a statement piece or a small accent.

• Why I Love It: Leopard print is timeless. You can style it for any season, but it especially shines in the fall when you can layer it with cozy sweaters, jackets, and different colors. It adds a touch of personality to any look and can be styled up or down depending on the occasion.

• How to Wear It: Leopard print is versatile—start small with a belt or accessories, or go bold with a leopard coat or long skirt. One of my favorite combos this season is a leopard print skirt paired with a chunky knit sweater or denim jacket. It’s the perfect blend of chic and comfortable.

Combining Burgundy & Leopard

The best part about these two trends? They look amazing together! Burgundy’s rich, warm tone paired with the boldness of leopard print equals a fall power duo. Try pairing a burgundy top with a leopard skirt or scarf, or even a burgundy bag with a leopard blouse. The combination feels luxe and chic, while still being super easy to wear for everyday outfits as well.
